Ben at For-Autism was absolutely brilliant. His visit to our home was incredibly beneficial for our son and for us as parents. Ben took the time to really understand our son and showed us practical, achievable speech techniques and behaviour tools that we could use immediately in everyday life. He also shared clear, thoughtful resources that helped us better support our son communication and development. We genuinely feel that Ben’s input has propelled our son forward, and we’re so grateful for the confidence and clarity his visits gave us.

As a family, we have known and been working with Ben for the best part of a decade. In the very early days, Ben was our live-in manny and really put an enormous amount of structure and process around how we develop our sons, who has profound autism. I would class Ben as a true expert in his field, and his bond and connection with our son has been unshakable in the last ten years. We continue to work with Ben, who supports us as a family in many ways, for example, transitions between live-in nannies and where behaviours become complex, Ben supports us in creating strategies to help and support us as a family as well as our son. I couldn't recommend Ben any more strongly to any family who has an autistic child or young adult. Ben will have immediate impact if you are finding the going tough. He is also a very lovely guy.

It has been amazing to watch Ben in practice; he first came to Toothberry years ago supporting a 8 Year old boy with Autism. It was a very successful appointment, the child managed to come in to the surgery calmly, and was able to stay the whole appointment and complete all the work we needed to do, including a polish and clean.
In addition, Ben has provided bespoke training to the whole Toothberry team, which has improved the way we approach patients with autism, and he continues to support us and families with children with Autism though the family support packages he has developed for us. Ben is a great asset to our team.

Ben has been instrumental in resolving a number of challenges we experienced with our 4 year old. Unlike most therapy sessions, the duration of time Ben was able to offer us as a family meant that we could really explore some of the key day-to-day challenges that we needed to learn how to understand and move forward from. Ben’s approach is 100% child-centred and best of all, completely relatable to the home setting as opposed to idealised scenarios that require expert equipment or training. He has genuinely been the life-line between my husband and I reaching our son again and isn’t that what every neuro-typical or neuro-diverse parent wants? To understand their child to the fullest and through that knowledge give them every opportunity to be the best version of themselves.
