About me and For Autism
I am Ben King, founder of For Autism. I am an energetic and caring practitioner dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of autistic children and young people.
With over 15 years' of experience supporting children on the autism spectrum. I have worked across a wide range of settings including mainstream schools, specialist provisions, Early Years (EYFS) environments, family homes, medical practices and community spaces. This breadth of experience allows me to understand the unique challenges and strengths that are present in every child and to provide practical, tailored support that genuinely works in real life.
I believe that every child is an individual first and foremost. Taking time to build trust, understand communication styles, and recognise sensory and emotional needs is at the heart of my practice. My work focuses on developing confidence, strengthening communication, and promoting independence in ways that feel safe, empowering, and achievable for each child.
My Qualifications and training include:

I aim to create positive, enjoyable, and meaningful experiences that help children feel understood, valued, and capable.
